Essential, Extra, or Premium?
by Robert Ramsey 1 hour ago
Now that the new PS Plus tiers are available worldwide (they finally launched in Europe, Australia, and a few other regions earlier in the week), we simply have to ask: which tier are you subscribed to?
PS Plus Essential is the new name for the standard PS Plus service. You get your online multiplayer access, cloud saves, some PlayStation Store discounts, and a monthly selection of PS5 and PS4 games. PS Plus Extra throws a huge catalogue of PS5 and PS4 titles into the mix, while the most expensive option, PS Plus Premium, adds a library of PS1, PS2, and PS3 games, as well as PS5 game trials.
